Dangerous goods containers

Purpose-designed storage needs to be matched to the substances, quantities and site. A general purpose container is not automatically suitable for hazardous goods.

Describe the contents before choosing a unit

Provide the product safety data sheets, quantities and storage location when you enquire. Different substances can require separation, ventilation, spill containment and other provisions that an ordinary steel box does not provide.

Ask a qualified adviser to assess the applicable requirements and obtain the specific unit's documentation. A label or generic product name is not enough to confirm suitability.

Make the quote specific

Record the requested internal layout, access, containment capacity and relevant compliance documentation in the enquiry. Confirm the unit's intended use and any limitations before agreeing to supply.

Site placement, handling procedures and emergency access also need assessment. We can take an enquiry for a suitable unit; the website cannot approve a dangerous-goods storage installation.

Compare dimensions or plan the delivery access.
