10 Foot Shipping Containers
10ft shipping containers
A shorter storage footprint for a compact site. Check the usable space and door opening carefully: the outside measurement is not the room you can fill.
Shorter box. Same access questions.
A 10ft unit can suit tools, garden equipment or household overflow when a longer container would consume too much of the block. Draw the container and the swing of its doors on a site plan. Keep a separate route for moving the items you want to store.
A small footprint does not guarantee a small delivery vehicle. Tell us about the gateway, turns, surface and overhead services before settling on this size. The transporter needs space to unload as well as space to drive in.
Check how your unit was made
Some 10ft containers are purpose built; others are modified from longer units. Ask which construction you are being quoted, and request the actual dimensions, door arrangement and photographs.
For shelves or long tools, measure the usable internal depth first. Let us know whether you need new or used condition and which defects would matter for your contents.
New single-trip
Ask about a new 10ft unit in your preferred colour. Single-trip containers may have handling marks; request current photos.
Used condition
Compare the floor, doors, seals and repairs on the individual 10ft unit. Availability and the condition grade are confirmed in your quote.
A note on as-is. As-is containers are not sold as wind and watertight. They may need repairs and are unsuitable for contents that must stay dry unless those repairs are assessed and completed.
Colour preferences are subject to availability. Ask for photos of the actual unit.
